About Us

After 25 years in a high-pressure, high-profile career in the media, I was diagnosed with chronic depression. That chapter of my life brought challenges that forced me to reassess everything. In my journey to healing, I turned to photography—a daily ritual that became both therapy and inspiration. Through the lens, I learned to slow down, appreciate life’s fleeting moments, and take one day, or one click, at a time.

One quiet day, while reflecting with my daughter, she asked about the thousands of photographs I’d taken over the years. Her simple question planted a seed: why not give those frozen memories a second life?

That spark led to the creation of Gallus Collective. Rooted in the boldness and creativity of Scotland, Gallus Collective merges my passion for photography ( The Gallus Gallery fused with fashion. Each garment becomes a living canvas, transforming ordinary clothing into a narrative of visual storytelling. It’s more than just design; it’s a way to inspire, raise awareness about mental health, and highlight the healing power of creativity and positivity and wellbeing.

Through Gallus Collective, I hope to show how art can move beyond galleries—into our lives, onto our streets, and into the everyday moments that define us.
