Gorbals Mug The Photography of Brian Anderson
Gallus Collective – “Streets of Glasgow: Gorbals 2025” Tee
Gallus Collective’s newest drop captures a powerful moment from Glasgow’s ever-changing urban landscape. Featuring Brian Anderson’s raw black-and-white photograph, the design shows a young boy climbing a fence as the iconic Caledonia Road tower blocks—numbers 305 and 341—stand in the background shortly before their planned demolition in 2025.
These two high-rise giants, once defining features of the Gorbals skyline, were brought down to make way for new housing. The image freezes a fleeting moment of old Glasgow meeting the new—youth framed against a city shedding its past and rebuilding its future.
Bold typographic elements and Gallus Collective’s signature brush-stroke framing complete the design, giving the tee a gritty, authentic street-culture aesthetic. It’s a tribute to resilience, change, and the spirit of the people who’ve lived these streets.
A piece of Glasgow history—captured, worn, remembered.
